Reliable Scale Corporation introduces new Cattle-Logger™ Data Retrieval Software.

(Calgary, AB Canada) – Cattle-Logger™ Data Retrieval Software greatly simplifies the task of getting animal data from chute-side to computer for use with herd management programs or the creation of reports (for CCIA in Canada).

The need to better manage herd data has increased over the past few years. Reliable Scale Corporation addresses this need by collecting electronic identification (EID) in its line of digital weight indicators. Using a weight indicator to gather data eliminates the need for a personal computer at chute-side. The weight indicators are ruggedly built and are designed to operate in harsh conditions.

The weight indicator is easy to take to the office and connect to a PC for data transfer. Cattle-Logger™ software automates the process of transferring and converting records into a variety of reports and formats. If desired, the operator can verify and manipulate the data before it is saved in common spreadsheet or word processor programs. Cattle-Logger™ can also export files for the popular Cow Sense^® herd management software program. This makes adding or updating weight and/or ID information in Cow Sense^® very easy.

Cattle-Logger™ is standard Windows^® based program that works with Reliable Scale Series 300, 500 and 600 digital weight indicators. It is provided at no charge on the Reliable Scale Corporation website or by request on CD.
